MessageHi Lynnita. Just making my annual visit a little late. Had another friend who was with me in the 7th Infantry Division in 1950-1951 pass away. His name was Harvey LaPlant. Again, I really appreciate all the work you do in keeping the Korean War from being The Forgotten War. At 82 years old dont never know if I will be here for next years visit, but if not, thanks again.

MessageMy name is Eugene VanLenten. I was in the 7th regiment 3rd division. I was one of the 10 that survived Boomerang Hill. I served from 1952-1954. I lived all my life in Garfield, NJ. I was a radio operator for the mortors. AT the end of the war I became a cook for Officers and men. I will be attending the Hudson Vally Honor Flight and the SJ Honor flight this year.
